SCP: Security Systems (hereafter “SCP:SS”) add-on contains several useful features to make your SCP map more beautiful. For example, CCTV, Tesla Gate, and Doors.

SCP:SS is an upgrade to the SCP Doors Addon with non-door related features. You can replace SCP Doors Addon in your world with SCP:SS.

SCP:SS is designed to use with SCP Dystopia: Redefined, SCP: Classified, or both at same time.
Therefore, it does not include any SCP.

(You don’t have to read) My story with doors

When I was a kid, I was playing Minecraft a lot. My childhood was mainly playing Minecraft and watching Minecraft videos on YouTube.
I really liked the Minecraft Java Edition videos. Since I didn’t have a computer, so I always wanted to play Java Edition someday.

One day, I found SCP Foundation, and Minecraft videos of SCP Foundation mods.
I immediately loved the SCP Foundation. That day, I began to make SCP maps in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
The things I loved about Java Edition SCP maps the most are, functional blocks (especially doors), and the overall mood of the map created by those functional blocks.

Few years later, a famous SCP addon creator added entity doors to their SCP addon. At that time, there were no other SCP addons that have functional doors.
I was like “OH!! FINALLY!!” and spent a whole week just to experiment with the doors.
It was magical. I can’t feel it today, but I clearly remember the memories I had with that SCP addon.

Another year later, I began to make SCP addons. The feature I added to my SCP addon is, of course, the doors.
But I realized that the entity doors slowed down our worlds.

I made block doors in SCP: Dystopia, and then made it better in SCP Dystopia: Redefined.
But the block doors I added to those addons, had some issues (Such as taking too much space to function, and they can’t be used intuitively).

But in this addon, I finally accomplished to make block doors that are EASY TO USE, SMALL, and close to our SCP: Lockdown redstone dreams!!

Warning

This addon is designed to work on Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.50.
This addon relies on experimental features, so it might not work in new versions, based on how Mojang will change those features with future updates.
I coded this addon in a clean way, so I should be able to fix it quickly even if they destroyed this addon.

So, if your Minecraft received an update, don’t open your beautiful map immediately; Create a backup, and check if everything is correct.
If anything related to this addon is broken, please let me know from this Discord server.

Known Issues

– Keypad error (probably also CCTV Monitor and Tesla Gate Manager)

Keypad might not work properly and say “keypad.js: playerToSeeForm is undefined or invalid”.
It’s a Minecraft bug where player entity is invalid when it should be valid.
If this still happens after SCP:SS 2.0, there is no way to fix this.

Compatible Addons

This addon should be compatible with any other addon, but it’s tested to work well with these addons:

Although it’s much easier to set up than before, you have to:

1. Place a block named Power Provider (Button / Key Card Reader), a block with caution lines.
2. Place a door (Located inside creative menu in door category) on top of the Power Provider.
3. Place a button or key card reader in either one of these positions:

4. Done! You can open the door by interacting on a button or a key card reader (with key card with required level in hand)!

Doors are opened when a active Power Provider is underneath.
There’s a different Power Provider type. See “Redstone integration” tutorial for details.

You can even create double-sided doors like this:

You know how much it improved if you have used SCP Dystopia: Redefined before. ❤️

Door redstone integration

There are two types of Power Provider blocks.

First one is named “Power Provider (Button / Key Card Reader)”.
It can be activated using a button or a key card reader

Second one is named “Power Provider (Power Source)”.
It can only be activated when a Power Source block is underneath it.

Combination of second Power Provider and Power Source block can be used for redstone integration with sticky pistons.

Examples are in later part of this video.

Redstone with buttons and key card readers

You can interact a button or a key card reader with either Wrench or Hammer (if you use SCP: Classified) in hand, to change the button mode.

  • If it’s redstone block mode 1, it will spawn a redstone block 3 blocks under the button when interacted.
  • If it’s redstone block mode 2, it will spawn a redstone block 2 blocks behind the button when interacted.

You can use the redstone block for redstone signal.

Tesla Gate activation

  1. Place a Tesla Gate
  2. Activate/Deactivate it using a Tesla Gate Manager block

CCTV setup

  1. Place CCTV Cameras (up to 6)
  2. Place a CCTV Monitor
  3. Place CCTV Linkers inside cameras that needs to be connected to the monitor
  4. Place CCTV Linker inside CCTV Monitor to complete linking

Required Minecraft version: 1.20.50 or later

DO NOT FORGET TO ENABLE THESE EXPERIMENTS:

Thank you 💕
