Hello there, good Mcpedler. Ever wanted an addon that adds a relatively large set of features to the game, most of which having little to or no relation to eachother whatsoever? If so, you have an interesting taste in addons. Just like me! So this addon is gonna do that by introducing a bunch of cool new features to your game that I promise you will like, even if you probably won’t get most of it. Only about 5 people in the entire world will be able to fully understand this addon, but don’t let that hinder your enjoyment of it ok? Yoshis are there now, read the changelog to see everything new!!!!

Visit the changelog to see everything new in update 1.2.0, the addon post is already long enough so adding onto it would simply make it annoying to navigate

So, where would be a good place to start with an out of order feature set like this? Well, one cool thing it does is add many new Music Discs to your game! That’s right, a plethora new music discs for you to listen to! Unfortunately they don’t work like the vanilla music discs since I couldn’t figure out how to do that, so instead of playing them in a jukebox you can just use the disc whilst holding it to play the song, and then use it again if you wanna stop the song. How do you get them? Not from creepers, you see. Instead of that there are fragments you can obtain that are crafted into the discs with a respective item, which was inspired by some other addon I saw that adds fragments for all the discs. You can find the fragments for four of these discs in some structure chests or from doing archaeology at some certain places like the Trail Ruins, which is cool I guess. More on those other discs later…

The next feature I’ll show to you is new drinks that this addon introduces! They’re pretty cool, but you would need a brewing stand to create them all. The first one is the iconic ASDA chocolate milk, brewable with water bottles and cocoa beans. If you drink it, you can jump a bit higher for a few seconds! But also might suffer some poison damage, since that chocolate milk from ASDA has a bad reputation of almost choking certain people.

Using gunpowder, you can even brew the sort of delicious milk into a throwable splash version that you can throw at any mob to give them the iconic, deadly ASDA poison! But beware of yourself, for it is quite volatile on hit.

The Tango Dark Berry is another new drink, brewable using some sweet berries and water bottles. Yes I know they’re not the same berry, but it was the closest thing to it that exists in Minecraft… anyway, if you drink it you can run a bit faster for some time which is cool.

ADVERSITE

Lemon and Lime water is water that is made of lemons and limes a bit. Unfortunately, neither of those exist in Minecraft, so I did the next best thing and made it brewable with water and apples. If consumed, you’ll be able to mine faster for a bit! AWESOME!

Want a kelp shake? They’re SUPER yummy to drink, and I mean SUPER. Brew some with water and kelp, and drink one to get some water breathing for a bit since kelp is built like that. Oh how you’ll love a kelp shake!

There’s also a new potion added by the mod, and to brew this one you’ll need some awkward potions and a nether star. YIKES! Or you can trade it with a certain fellow or even find it in a barrel within a certain structure. This Vanished Curse Potion looks very flashy and is indeed consumable like all the others, but I cannot guarantee your safety if you do decide to go and drink it…

If you were to brew together a bucket of milk with a Ender Dragon’s head for some reason, you’ll end up with some Victicide Milk. Who is Victicide exactly? That’s not a question I’ll be able to answer for you here, so sorry… if you drink the milk, it clears all your effects and also will instantly regenerate all of your health regardless of how injured you are.

Like gambling, or just rolling the dice for something good or bad? If so, craft a Wither’s Ado using a Wither Skeleton Skull and some soul sand/soil. When you use the ado, the Wither Gods will take note of your offering and choose to either bless you with something good or smite you with something bad. These can range from having experience granted/confiscated from you to having rare or dangerous mobs spawn and even being given some bodyguards! There’s a 50% chance to get a good or bad one, so bettah hope you get lucky.

When it comes to creative-only items, the Yell Gun is most certainly one of them. It’s creative only right now for a good reason too: if you use it, the gun will fire out a sonic blast that creates fire and lightning wherever it strikes! On top of making an absolutely hilarious noise, and dealing good damage too.

IM GONN SCREW U UP ULTRA!!! is most definitely one of the swords of all time. This weapon is also creative only, and by just one look at it’s stats you will probably be able to see why. The sword will basically one shot anything you hit with it due to it‘s thousands of damage points and it also has loads of durability and enchantability, so really it’s more of an item for testing purposes. If you use it, the sword will also activate an ability such as creating fire, freezing nearby mobs, unleashing fangs from the ground and more!

ADVERSITE

Ok, I think it’s finally time for you to meet one of the new mobs added by this addon. Say hello to the iconic character… BOB FROM BOB’S BURGERS!!!! Wielding his iconic spatula, he will spawn on beaches at day since I’m pretty sure that’s where he lives in the show, and he will be more then ready to exchange some delicious burgers of his own in exchange for Tokens. What are Tokens? Well they’re a unique currency that you can find in certain chests within rare structures, that you can use to trade with some of the new mobs in this addon. You can also craft a Token with 9 gold blocks, but if you don’t see the issue with that then you might be a little too rich. Bob will also try to fight hostile mobs that come nearby but he’s a bit cowardly!

If you really love Bob’s spatula, you can buy it from him or craft it with this amazing recipe:

While we’re at it, I might as well show you another one of the new mobs that this addon introduces. His name is Doctor M, a doctor of the Yoshi Resort hospital who will sometimes spawn across the overworld at day time. He’s also a pretty chill guy, just wandering around and he won‘t attack you even if you hurt him first. The contrary actually: if you are injured he will throw healing potions at you which is nice of him! He will also attack monsters using potions like a witch, but is way better at it since he uses stronger potions and also different types when attacking or defending himself. Also he can sell you Medkits in exchange for Money or Tokens, which can be used for self-healing should it be necessary.

We’re not done just yet! Doctor M’s cousin just so happens to be a tough cop named Officer M, who can be found at day in the same places that Doctor M. will spawn in. He behaves similarly to him but has a different attack; instead of fighting with potions he’ll just use his bigass Officer Pistol! Though the officer’s firerate is pretty slow, his bullets deal very high damage, and he will attack any monsters as well as you if you hit him first. Attacking him will also make any other Officer or Doctor Ms nearby become hostile towards you so watch out for that! On death he might drop his signature pistol, allowing you to use it as a powerful weapon of your own.

ADVERSITE

Similar to the Pottery Sherds introduced in the 1.20 update, you’ll be able to sometimes find a Victicide, Yoshi or Riches Marouflage from excavating the suspicious gravel of Trail Ruins. I still won’t tell you who Victicide is yet, but you’ll be able to use four of these respective Marouflages to create a really cool looking, grey pot that shatters if you break it with anything! You can’t mix and match the Marouflages though, at least right now, so sorry.

When it comes to other cool craftable things, you can craft the Light Slasher using an iron block and two amethyst shards. This is a sword which does 6 damage on hit and also will inflict the weakness effect on hit to whatever you attack with it, weakening their damage. The durability is pretty good too, but that’s it really. There’s also a less expensive Light Dagger that deals less damage and instead inflicts the slowness effect…

Wanna see another amazing mob? Well, lets-a-go to the mushroom island biome now since that’s where you will find Mario spawning in! You know, cus of all the mushrooms there. Mario is a jolly old fellow who likes to jump far and wide, and he’s a pacifist with his attempts to avoid hostile enemies the best he can. On top of all this amazing stuff, he’s looking to sell you some Burritoes in exchange for Tokens! He’ll also sell you the ingredients to make your own Burrito and a truly amazing block that speaks when you interact with it. Mario can even sometimes sell his iconic cap, and it will give you some light protection and a jump boost effect when worn! There’s even a burrito stand structure you can sometimes find him in, where he works to craft his tasty burritos.

ADVERSITE

Looking for something a bit more… RETRO?!?! Well if you are, then you should know that the polar opposite of the Mushroom Island is obviously the Nether’s Warped Forests. Go there and look around until you stumble upon the myth, the legend, SUPER GRUN FROM SUPER GRUN ADVENTURE! This guy is super duper retro in every way, from his sword to his clothing and his vocal chords. Though he might seem like a peaceful man, if you or anything else harms Grun then he will kill you as soon as he touches you and also warps everywhere due to his retro powers. Also he has a house in the Overworld where he can be found, not paying rent to his landlord. If you stay on good terms with him though, you’ll be able to trade some unique items with him by transferring your Tokens into special Retro Tokens! SO RETRO

Whilst on the shores or swimming through the ocean waters, there’s a chance that you will get to meet the sea’s most legendary hero: Turtle Man! Said to have formed a crime fighting team with a ghost and Officer M, you can find him swimming across the oceans with a Turtle Dagger in hand, ready to attack monsters and even you if you anger him! He will also speak very loudly and clearly if you come nearby, likes to drink Kelp Shakes and also comes in a block form which generates at the bottom of oceans and speaks (as well as bubbles) if you interact with it. If you like the Turtle Dagger and block, you can craft them using scutes and shells that Turtle Man has a chance to drop on death! Be careful when holding the shell though…

ADVERSITE

When it comes to other cool features in this addon, there’s a plethora of fun new blocks you can make for decorating! The Resort Bricks are a new type of green brick that come in all the variants that other bricks do: Mossy, Cracked, Chiseled, Stair, Wall and Slab. To make the Resort Bricks, you’ll need to put together 4 individual Resort Brick items that you can obtain by painting normal bricks with lime dye or from chest/brush loot, and then you make the other types with a stonecutter or through the same recipes as other brick types. There’s also creepy Yoshi Blocks that can either be smiling or frowning depending on where you look at it from, and Laboratory Steel that makes up the spider Joshua’s supposed science lab!

ADVERSITE

On the topic of Joshua, he‘s another new mob who is a fancily dressed spider that you might stumble across within his own laboratory structure. Other then behaving lile a spider in a few ways like climbing walls and being able to walk through cobwebs, he doesn’t do too much and also isn’t hostile even if you hit him. He’s also friends with the other spiders and so won’t be attacked by them which is pretty cute. Though he can buy and sell redstone related items from you in exchange for Tokens, which is cool!

Another chap that you might find spawning across your world is a fellow named Max. He’s a person who really enjoys withers, and thus is friendly around them and wither skeletons and also won’t attack you unless you strike first. Max will attack monsters by throwing out arrows that inflict the wither effect, and he will also spread the wither effect to nearby mobs when angry and summons Wither Skeleton Shadows to attack his enemies! If you slay him he might drop Tokens and even a special sword on rare occasions, but killing him may prove challenging especially in the early game.

ADVERSITE

Like tasty and delicious snacks? Well lucky for you this addon has a few of those for you to make too! Cupcakes can be made with some Wheat, Sugar and Cherry blossom and are very scrumptious, as well as giving some good hunger back when eaten. They also are said to attract certain Yoshis who might try to eat them…

There are 4 different types of canned Pringles too, each of them giving some hunger and a respective effect on consumption. Yummy! You can craft the Plain, Salt and Vinegar and Cheese and Onion types with a Baked Potato and some Concrete (what they are actually made of), whereas the Pizza Pringles are only obtainable by trading with a certain somebody who we will cover soon.

Unfortunately, Shumi is another new mob who you may so happen across whilst venturing the overworld at night time. He’s a cyborg or shumi or whatever species/gender the guy wanted him to be from another planet, equipped with a special sword that he’ll gladly use to attack monsters with both ranged and melee attacks. On top of having some other abilities, he also might sell some potions to you in exchange for Tokens, including splash/lingering variants and that Vanished Curse Potion from earlier though it is expensive! Also he can sell his sword, it is expensive but has some special properties compared to a usual diamond sword. He also will attack you only if attacked first, but due to his strength it might be a bad idea to try and engage in combat with him. Though he has a low chance to drop a certain item on death…

If you don’t like Shumi (which I wouldn’t blame you for) and just want to keep him contained somewhere, then good news is what I have for you! Craft a Shumi Trap Block with some Iron Ingots and a Vanished Curse Potion, then place it down. It will constantly teleport any nearby Shumis to it constantly, thus leaving them trapped until you choose to break it for some reason!

Did you know that Shumi also has a secret alter-ego? That’s right, when nobody is looking he turns red, dresses with a tomato coloured blue nose and goofy tie and goes to sell krabby patties as none other than Krabby the Clown!!!! You might find him spawning at the bottom of the ocean alone, swiming around and selling Kelp Shakes and Krabby Patties in exchange for Money. Money is different then Tokens, but how do you obtain some? Well, money really is just green coloured paper, so I think you should be able to figure out how to create some using that information. He will also try to avoid Turtle Man, since he sees right through his sham and will try to kill Krabby over it. He can sell fragments for a certain disc too, obviously at a ridiculous price due to his severe case of cheapskateitis.

Llama is a guy who’s way cooler then Shumi, and you’ll be able to find him also spawning on the overworld surface at night time. Being a skeleton with his own Light Slasher/dagger, Mushroom Pikmin or revolver, he’s not hesitant to attack monsters and you if angered so it might be better to try stay on his good side. Staying on his good side may end up being worth your while, as you’ll also be able to trade with him using Tokens. He exchanges things from mushroom products to weapons like bows and even some unique items and blocks that you can only obtain by trading with him! Since he trades so many items, he’ll likely be offering something different each time you interact with him so be sure to check out his stock. Llama and Max also don’t get along with Shumi very well, and both of them will attack him on sight. He also has a secret trade that you can only find by turning on Education Edition features in the settings…

When rummaging through the forests of your world, there’s definitely a group of creatures that you will want to look out for. They come in 3 differ variants, are very small and are from the Pikmin games! That’s right, you can find Louie, Olimar and more rarely the President spawning within forest biomes, climbing up blocks and minding their own business. These creatures won’t attack you even if you attack them first, but most certainly will attack monsters by throwing different types of Pikmin at them though they are a bit cowardly. You can trade with these three too! Olimar and Louie will trade for Tokens whilst the President only accepts Money, to get different types of Pikmin as well as other resources like Resort Bricks and Pikpik Carrots! The throwable Pikmin all have different abilities and effects they apply on hit, and while most of them are obtainable by trading with the aforementioned three there are a few that you must trade with other mobs from the addon to obtain.

Pikpik Carrots can just be eaten or made into a Golden one for better saturation and hunger. The Pikmin mobs are also attracted to both carrots and will try to eat them

Up for a super difficult challenge in your Minecraft world? If so, craft a Deathly Mural using the below recipe:

If you dare use this item then you shall awaken the wrath of possibly the most powerful being in all of Minecraft: MC RIDE! That’s right, the godly man himself will be summoned in a flash of lightning upon use of this dreaded mural. After descending, he will begin his acts of terror upon your Minecraft world, running and climbing around at extreme speeds while attacking any other mob he spots. His abilities range from firing sonic beams that deal tremendous knockback to calling down lightning upon his targets, as well as being able to destroy almost any block in his path! With a huge follow/attack range, some damage resistance and immunity to many forms of damage it’s safe to say that everything you have and more needs to be pulled out in order to take him down before he wreaks havoc upon your world. On death, you’ll be rewarded with lots of experience and Tokens as well as fragments for a respective music disc, with MC Ride being able to drop fragments for 7 different discs! There is also a special item he has a rarer chance to drop on death, but eh don’t worry about it too much.

The Lorax truly is an amazing story about the destruction of many trees, therefore what addon could be anything near good without the addition of The Onceler? You might stumble across him within biomes with trees like forests, swamps and savannas, but the biome he will spawn in most often is the Cherry Grove. Wielding his own decked out axe, he will chop down any trees that he runs into and will collect any logs or money that he might find lying on the ground. You also can trade with him using any money you might have left over from your exchanges with the Pikmin fellows or Krabby, and don’t attack him since he won’t be against using his axe for defense if threatened! He can also sell Onceler Milk (don’t ask) and fragments for his iconic song which can be crafted into a disc with some sweeet money.

If you like his axe, you can craft it too with iron blocks and any log/wood. The recipe is pretty expensive, but that’s made up for by it’s high strength and durability…

If no good addon would be complete without the Onceler, than no perfect addon would be complete without a new boss. Oh, and that new boss would have to be the Lorax. The Lorax has a really rare chance to naturally spawn within the Cherry Grove biome at both day and night (spawn chance will be higher depending on the world difficulty), just wandering around, but his rare spawn rate is for good reasons. He is extremely fast and can jump high, spreads cherry saplings wherever he walks and has a plethora of different abilities, from being able to regenerate his health and fire out storms of arrows to shooting out balls of lingering poison! YIKES!!! He also has the same amount of health as the Wither, so a battle against him would be extremely intense and requires you to tread carefully in Cherry Groves whenever you don’t have your best gear on you. Just like MC Ride, he also comes with an intense boss track! On death, the Lorax will drop some Lorax Tokens which server as a symbol of your triumph over him and can be used to repair the Sword-Ax, a sword that he also drops. The Sword-Ax deals very high damage and comes in 4 different variants; each variant has different stats and also a special ability when used aside from the base variant. For example, one can be used to plant various different saplings! On top of all that, the Lorax is known to eat a certain Armor trim that he has a super rare chance to drop on death.

The aforementioned Lorax Tokens he gives can be combined with the disc fragments also dropped by the Lorax to create a music disc for his boss track, or brewed with milk to create the very much yummy and giving of effects Lorax Milk.

On the subject of Milk, you can take all the milks that you have obtained across your adventure and combine them together to create the Super Milk! You’ll figure out why it’s called that when you drink it, as you will get some ultra powerful effects for a brief period of time. Think about how viscous that would be to drink though…

The addon does also have some other secret features like special items not mentioned on here, UI texture changes and even a new music track for a specific biome. How many of these shall you find in-game, is the bigger question though…

Like dressing up? Well this package has sure as heck got you sorted as well! Included with the mod is a special Yoshi Resort Skin Pack, which includes skins of all the mobs from the mod plus a few extras. With 24 different skins to play with, you’re sure to have a fun time when donning one of these!
