ABOUT THE EPIC KNIGHTS MOD!

The Epic Knights mod is a historically accurate medieval armour and weapons mod. The addon currently has 16 different armour sets and 20 different weapon types in all vanilla resources plus a new material steel! The mod is heavily based around java’s Epic Knights Mod and in light of this we have made it compatible with 3D combat by pixelleddoki to provide incredible attack animations and abilities it is highly recommended you use 3D combat with the mod also to further advance the combat most weapons in the addon have the ability to block attacks! When used correctly this addon brings an unique experience to Minecraft.

How to play

In Epic Knights the main resources are leather,wool and iron,these are essential if you want to progress quickly within the addon. Lets start with leather, leather can be used to make leather strips which are then used to make hilts and poles.Also in the addon the boot slot is reserved for surcoats and capes.

These can then be combined with gold,diamond,iron,steel,wood and stone to make weapons! Netherite like in vanilla is crafted through the smithing table.

Next is wool,wool can be used to craft woollen cloth which is used to craft surcoats,capes and the Gambeson armour set.

Lastly, we have iron.Iron is as usual in minecraft an essential resource.Iron can be smelted to obtain the most best resource in the addon steel.Steel in terms of weaponary is worse than diamond but is better than iron having higher durability but the same attack damage.However steel is used to craft every armour in the addon,so procuring it is a must if you wish to advance quickly.

-One of the best armours in the mod, aesthetically and in functionality

-Has the slowness 2 debuff, this is because historically jousting armour was heavy and restricted movement,this also forces you to use a horse

EXTRAS

Surcoats, Crests and Cloaks

In Epic Knights the boot armour slot is used for surcoats/capes.Surcoats are crafted with woolen cloth,wool and the dye of your choice (excluding pink,lime,cyan,light gray,magenta) please note that surcoats are still not fully done in terms of combinations!You can add 2 Crests to your surcoats or shields.
