• 1 block beneath the player
• 1 block above the player
• 4 blocks at the player’s feet level (sides)
• 4 blocks at the player’s head level (sides)
• 2 blocks occupied by the player (feet and head levels)

Important notes:

1. Blocks occupied by the player are also transformed. This is usually unnoticeable for solid blocks but becomes apparent for passable blocks like bushes.
2. Side blocks of passable objects (bushes, tall grass, etc.) are affected, as the player is considered to be “touching” them while passing through.
3. The effect area updates constantly as the player moves.
4. Diagonal blocks are not affected; only directly touched blocks transform.
5. Thin blocks, such as grass, fences or glass panes, are transformed into yellow stained glass panes instead of solid gold blocks. This maintains the thin nature of these blocks while still applying the Midas touch effect.

2. Special Items: 

a) The Divine Seal: Permanently disables the Midas effect when equipped in the first inventory slot.

• Usage: To seal Midas’ touch, place The Divine Seal in the first inventory slot (left hand). To unseal, simply remove it from this slot.

• 1 Nether Star (center)
• 1 Redstone Block (top center)
• 1 Dragon Egg (bottom center)

b) Midas Respite Pearl: Temporarily suspends the Midas effect for 10 seconds when used.
