JACS The Robot NEW 2.1.0 Update: Power Drive (Compatible With Any Addon!)
AD
CREATOR BY DRBIDIZZLE
Just A Combat System (JACS), is a robot entity designed to fight mobs. JACS comes with 4 custom modes that are designed to battle mobs in different ways. Works with any addon! Now comes with enemy mobs, bosses, trophies, recyclable parts, weapons, tools, armor, ore and every mode is upgradable!
JACS brings in 4 different entities, each are craftable and there are 3 more items that can also be craftable. JACS are friendly beings but will fight back if you harm a non-tamed JACS in any way. They will also attempt to fight any hostile mob except creepers. This includes hostile mobs from other addons. JACS robots can now also be upgradeable and more information about it is down below in the 1.8.0 and 1.9.0 update sections.
ADVERSITE
Here is JACS. This is the base version of JACS robots in which you will be using its summon to change modes. Their style of fighting is up close and personal, melee attacks. They also deal wither effects when they’re fighting mobs. JACS’s HP has a total of 120 and can be tameable.
You can craft JAC’s summon with a block of iron, block of redstone, 2 iron ingots and 2 redstone. Once crafted they can be thrown like a snowball and spawn in JACS.
ADVERSITE
This is JACS Shooter mode. Instead of using melee attacks, this bot prefers to keep its distance and shoot fireballs. Essentially making it harder to be defeated when it spaces out. JACS Shooter Mode’s total HP is 120 and can be tameable.
To craft the JACS Shooter mode summon, you’ll need the original JACS summon and pair it with a fire component.
To craft the fire component, you’ll need 2 redstone, 3 iron ingots, and 1 blaze powder.
ADVERSITE
This is JACS Turret mode. While it may be ranged like Shooter mode, it stays in place and cannot move. If you want to move JACS Turret mode, it can be leashable (Same with all the other JACS). JACS Turret mode will shoot out arrows making it hard for mobs to approach. JACS Turret mode has a total of 120 HP and CANNOT be tameable.
To craft the JACS Turret mode summon, you’ll need the original JACS summon and a turret component.
To craft the turret component, you’ll need 2 redstone, 3 iron ingots, and 1 dispenser.
ADVERSITE
This is the Big Guy. Notably a very large JACS robot. This is essentially base JACS in terms of fighting, but the Big Guy does more damage towards mobs, has a longer lasting wither effect, and is immune to fall damage. Big Guy is also rideable since the 1.5.0 update! However, this is also rather expensive to craft its summon. JACS Big Guy has a total of 400 HP and is tameable.
To craft the JACS Big Guy summon, you’ll need the original JACS summon, 4 iron blocks, 3 redstone blocks, and 1 emerald block.
ADVERSITE
In order to tame JACS, JACS Shooter mode, and Big Guy, you’ll need to craft a follower chip. To craft a follower chip you’ll need 2 redstone and 1 iron ingot. Once crafted you can give this to any of the JACS mentioned and spawned. It will be tamed guaranteed upon using the follower chip.
All JACS robots can be healed with redstone. A single redstone can heal 30 HP once given to a JACS robot.
Helpful tips to use JAC Robots With GIFS
Turret mode robots can be placed around your base. It’s best to keep them away from the ground so zombies have no way of harming them if they get close.
Want to save resources such as coal from cooking food or you are too far away from base with little resources to get cooking? JACS Shooter mode robots are great companions to bring along for a trip as they shoot fireballs when you attack an animal, which will drop cooked foods!
JACS Big Guy robots are excellent with dealing strong threats and mass mobs, but sometimes when there is a foe that is too strong even for Big Guy, teamwork could lead to victory and ensuring both you and Big Guy’s survival. With Big Guy’s speed while riding, ranged weapons work favorably as you can space yourself from strong mobs or giant waves of mobs and shoot safely in a distance.
While you can travel with your tamed robots, it would not hurt to bring a summon or 2 along when you are traveling. In case one robot dies you can spawn in another to take its place or give your robot an extra hand. Sometimes when a threat is becoming too dangerous, just throwing a summon would be a great distraction as you can make your way to flee from the area if necessary.
ADVERSITE
Remember, this addon can work with any other addon! As long as enemies from other addons are labeled “monster” as their family, they will automatically attack those mobs except for creepers and any mob who are also considered to be in creeper’s family. Even if threats are not labeled as monsters, if you are being attacked or that you hit a mob, JACS Robots will jump in to defend you. Big Guy, Supercharged and Hero JACS robots can work tremendously if monsters from other addons are much more powerful than vanilla mobs.
2.1.0: Power Drive
The theme of this big update is power. Bringing in a new tool that’s a combination of the shovel and a pickaxe to mine certain blocks in a fast pace, a new robot that’s bigger and more powerful than any other robot in the addon as well as a new enemy to be found in the End that’s stronger than the other non boss enemies.
The azurite power drill is a new tool for the addon that breaks a lot of blocks in your adventures in a fast rate. It can break dirt, sand, stone, snow type of blocks and more. The catch however is they cannot mine ore nor can they be used to break certain blocks like furnances for example. A great tool but you should always still carry a pickaxe.
Crafting the power drill will take up some resources as it will need 7 iron ingots and 2 azurite blocks (18 azurite).
ADVERSITE
Enormous Guy is the next evolution from the Big Guy Superharged. While it may be similar to the Hero JACS series, Enormou Guy is not a part of the set. Packing 1000 HP, dealing more damage towards mobs and self regeneration, Enormous Guy is the strongest robot a robot could ever achieve. The robot is even bigger than the Big Guy and Big Guy Supercharged!
With the bigger size, up to 2 players are able to ride the Enormous Guy!
The recipe to create the Enormous Guy is absurdly expensive. Needing 4 netherite blocks, 1 nether star, 1 emerald, and 2 condensed azurite blocks on top of the already expensive Big Guy Supercharged summon. Only the most hardcore players can create this beast of a robot and be rewarded with the ultimate protection!
End JACS Supercharged is a new enemy that spawns in the End. Now there are 2 enemy robots for the End and this robot is stronger than the previous 3 enemy robots. Marking the first enemy to be supercharged, End JACS Supercharged can drop azurite when defeated.
ADVERSITE
This update also provides a cosmetic change in that the Hero JACS robots recieve a potion color change that matches their respective robot. Every Hero JACS robot still has self regeneration and the new colors does not add any buff nor nerf.
With this update, the addon’s full package includes
- 15 craftable robots that can defend the player
- 2 bosses
- 2 trophies
- 4 enemies, 2 found in the Nether and 2 in the End
- Azurite ore and blocks that can be used for multiple recipes and uses
- 2 weapons
- 2 tools
- Set of armor
- When creating or changing your game world settings, be sure to turn “Holiday Creator Features” and “Custom biomes” on in experiments.
