Welcome to Sign Shop, the easiest way to create shops in Minecraft! Say goodbye to complicated setups as this pack makes it effortless. All you need is some signs and honeycomb! With straightforward sign layouts, you can quickly establish shops to sell or buy any item in the game!

How to use:

To honeycomb signs, you must have the “Admin” tag. Otherwise, you’ll receive a message stating “You Don’t Have Permission to Honeycomb Signs.” To give yourself or others the “Admin” tag, run these commands:

Commands

/tag @s add Admin

/tag (player name) add Admin

Scoreboard:

If you would like players to be able to view there coins execute the command: `/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar coins`. This sets the scoreboard to display the “coins” objective on the sidebar. To add coins to a player, execute the command: `/scoreboard players add [Player’s Name] coins [Amount]`. Replace `[Player’s Name]` with the player’s in-game name and `[Amount]` with the number of coins you want to add.

How to set up a Sign Shop

Now it’s time to set up your Sign Shop! To begin, place down a sign or a hanging sign in your desired location within the game. This will serve as the foundation for your shop. Once your sign is in place, simply follow the four-step instructions below to get everything configured and ready for transactions. With just a few easy steps, you’ll have a fully functional shop that allows players to buy and sell items seamlessly!

Line 1: Setting the Transaction Type

  • On the first line of the sign, type either [Buy] or [Sell] to indicate the type of transaction.

Line 3: Specifying the Item or enchant

  • On the second line of the sign, input the Minecraft ID of the item you wish to buy or sell. For instance, specify items such as “diamond” or “netherite_sword,” or you can also do enchantments like “unbreaking_3” and “mending,” and they will receive the corresponding enchantments on an enchanted book.

Line 4: Indicate Quantity

  • On the third line, specify the quantity of the item for purchase or sale (e.g., “1” or “64”). For enchantments, this value is inconsequential as only one enchanted book will be provided.

Line 5: Indicate Price

  • On the fourth line, type the price for the item or enchantment you want to buy or sell. This price will determine how much players pay or receive when using the shop!

Once you have followed those steps, right-click the sign with a honeycomb to activate your shop. This action will enable the transaction process, allowing players to buy or sell items as specified. Make sure you have the Admin tag, as only users with this permission can activate the shop. If everything is set up correctly, you’ll see a confirmation message, and your shop will be ready for business!
