Minecraft: More to Explore

Have you ever wanted a mod that adds vanilla friendly mobs, blocks and structures? 

The theme of this add-on tries to depict an ancient lost world with many secrets for you, an explorer, to discover…

This mod is not yet survival friendly, check the changelog for full list of changes

Here are some of the mobs in the addon 

(Mobs not shown are not fully developed yet)

The Illagers:

People of a rising power in the overworld, they are skilled in their crafts and contraptions, they also value the strong and powerful!

Illagers

Illager miner (experimental)

The illager miner spawns in caves, looking for precious minerals to mine, but do watch out as the TNT strapped to his back is threatening to explode any minute!

Reaver

The reaver is a plundering illager that loots villages and assaults players on sight. They are also especially fast in water

Illager guard

The illager guard is often seen guarding illager grounds, he will fire shots from afar and use his sword when the enemy gets too close

Tinkerer (miniboss)

The Tinkerer sits all day in his workshop building sinister contraptions, this illager needs to be stopped before he creates something truly despicable.

This illager is dedicated to adventure and explore in the end dimension, how he got there is another question altogether… (He loves eating chorus fruits)

Invoker (Boss)

Lord of the illagers, the high and elite evoker, the ‘Invoker’.

He has three stages to beat!

The piglins:

These pigs once ruled the nether, their home, but now it is overrun with the undead. Remnants of a once thriving kingdom can be seen dotted around the nether

Piglins

Piglin hunter

The piglin hunter is a piglin specialised in hunting down its target, do watch out for this pig, he will circle around you while taking opportunities to fire at you

Piglin crusher

The piglin crusher is a giant piglin warrior that guards the gold hoard of the piglins, be wary of his strong, crushing punch

Piglin scavenger

The piglin scavenger throws poisonous mushrooms at the player, and explode when hit, try to get rid of him before this piglin causes too much damage!

Bastion piglin (Boss)

This gold warrior will smash you to bits if you get too near and turn you to ashes with his fireball cannon of you decide to run, he will also summon his piglin brutes to hunt you down. 

Spore detonator

The spore detonator is the equivalent to a creeper but he has more health and is definitely harder to get rid of… 

 

The Villagers

Villagers

Village defender

The village defender patrols villages 24/7 making sure that no hostile entities attack their fellow villagers

Village archer

The village archer works alongside the village defender, maintaining order and firing arrows at any hostiles

Others:

Entities like animals, golems and other mobs will be classified as others, they still do play an important role in this add-on

Other mobs

Furnace golem

The furnace golem will burn unsmelted metal into something else, you may get diamonds or just get burnt charcoal, this golem is definitely useful if you don’t like smelting metals (currently only raw gold works)

Purple slime

The smallest slime in the game. Although small, the still pack a punch!

This sword was rumoured to have been crafted in the depths of the overworld, the sturdy weapon will help you in your adventures

The cutlass is a common sword used by pirates, illagers and adventurers alike, the light blade is good for a swift assault

Purpur tool set

Made with the purest of purpur, these odd tools are stronger than they look…

Crafted with etorine ingots!

Inferno tool set

Flaming tools of the nether, they glow with fury!

Katana

Used by the the most skilled samurai, this blade is sure to slice your enemies

Crafted with 2 iron ingots and one stick

This piece of pure purpur is made with… You guessed it! Purpur!

Refine it in a furnace!

Etorine crystal

The etorine crystal is mined from the depths of the end, (or just mine in the end islands) and is a highly unstable substance. It needs to be merged with another end material to be useful… (Purpur maybe?)

Etorine ingot

Made with purpur ingots and etorine crystals, this beauty is used to forge mighty tools like purpur tools and armor. Some lore masters say it has some undiscovered powers…

Can be worn by players and used to aid in your quest for adventure…

 Armour

Guard’s armour

The guard’s armour is a standard issue given to all illager guards, defeat one and you can have their gear!

(Has helmet and chestplate only)

Evocation set

The evocation robe and hat is only doned by the illager mages and some say it has magical powers…

Inferno armour

The Inferno armour has a fiery tint and glows with fury, it gives the user fire resistance and will protect them from molten threats!

Crafted using ignited magma blocks…

Reinforced armor

Made from the finest of minerals, forged with pure iron, this heavy and tough armor is sure to keep you safe in your travels!

Currently uncraftable

Found all over the overworld and the two other dimensions

Structures

Illager ship

Found commonly around the overworld oceans, these ships are used to transport villagers, free them and you will be greatly rewarded…

Illager mesa outpost

The power hungry illagers have turned their eyes to the gold in the mesa, building outposts there
