Mexican Food Add On!

Ever want more food variety in Minecraft? And not just any food, but your favorite food of all time…. MEXICAN!!! and not just any Mexican…. REAL MEXICAN!!! Come play Minecraft and make tacos and gorditas for your friends!!

Lime Trees: Lime trees generate randomly in the jungle biome. You can harvest their leaves to get limes and saplings to plant more trees. (Please note: Although the saplings work like normal saplings, the leaves of these trees do not automatically disappear when the trunk is cut down)

New Mob Drops

Pig Skin: Minecraft pigs now drop pig skin. This can be put in the furnace to give you pork rind (Chicharrones!!!). 

New Crops

Of course with Mexican food, you will need new crops. All the crops in this add on react with bone meal, however, none of them can be used in the composter (I’m still working on figuring that code out if possible). 

Cilantro:
This plant grows on farm land and can be trimmed with shears. Don’t let it grow too tall or it will only give you seeds!! (Cilantro in real life becomes bitter if you let it grow too tall). 

Onions:
This plant grows on farm land and can be harvested, but you must wait for it to flower before it gives you seeds.

Jalapeño:
This plant grows on farmland, and can be harvested once the peppers are ripe. (similar to sweet berry bush)

Tomato:
Tomatoes must be grown in a special bin (Tomato Planter) once they grow to full stature, you can pick lots of ripe tomatoes and wait for the next harvest. Throw the tomatoes on the crafting table to get the seeds. 

New Foods

On the crafting table, with the right ingredients, you can now look forward to the following foods!

• Gorditas de Chicharrones
• Gorditas de Pescado
• Gorditas de Tinga
• Gorditas de Barbacoa
• Gorditas de Carne Asada

And 

• Tacos de Chicharrones
• Tacos de Pescado
• Tacos de Tinga
• Tacos de Barbacoa
• Tacos de Carne Asada

Of course to make these, you will need flour, tortillas, and gorditas!!!

Note: Depending on how well this add on goes, I’m planning on adding the following updates

• Corn
• Pepper Update
• Cheese Update
• AND MANY MORE!!!
